My name is Andrey Flat, and I am a computer graphics artist with over two decades of experience in visual storytelling and digital effects.
-My journey began in 2003 with an interest in machinima, where I explored creative workflows using tools like Sony Vegas, Daz 3D, and 3ds Max. In 2008, I transitioned into professional video editing for television, focusing primarily on Adobe After Effects.
-In 2011, I joined a film studio where I expanded my expertise into color grading, compositing, and ultimately took on the role of visual effects supervisor. During this time, I worked with industry-standard tools such as Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, Naiad, and Houdini.
-In 2014, I founded my own studio, AEVA, and since 2017, I’ve been working independently as a freelance artist. Today, I specialize in procedural and generative visual effects using Houdini, Nuke, and ComfyUI — tools that allow me to push the boundaries of motion graphics and visual design.
